Golden Rock

Golden Rock, locally known as Kyaik Hti Yo, a sacred Pagoda for all Buddhist in Myanmar, and amazing site where the pagoda stands at the edge of the rock, and about to fall down. May be you don’t want to stay for long below the Rock as you might feel fear falling down on you. Well, this will never happen as the Buddha’s hairs are enshrined inside the Pagoda believed by the traditional Buddhists. The local pilgrims stay overnight on the pagoda complex by making the temporary so-called tent which is interesting to be seen. Taking the open truck sharing with local pilgrims between the base camp and the top is also fun and you will love it. To reach here, just about 4 hours drive from Yangon through the countryside and different beautiful landscapes.
